Television and movie star Flex Alexander (One on One, Snakes on a Plane) has teamed up with Lion Forge Comics to release his original concept The Joshua Run. Originally Flex wanted to pitch the idea as a television series but after a conversation with Lion Forge decided to release his idea as an original digital comic book series. Joining Flex who masterminded this creation is writer Brandon Easton (Thundercats, Shadowlaw) and artist JR who created the book’s distinct and gritty look.
The Joshua Run centers around a hacker named David Joshua that makes his money by using his skills to enter computer systems and take care of life’s little inconveniences such as speeding tickets or bad grades. Things change for Joshua when he stumbles upon information that leads him into the thick of a vast conspiracy. It’s another fast paced action adventure in the vein of Eagle Eye and Enemy of the State. It’s a powerful cyber thriller that will explore the nature of power in a world driven by information.
The Joshua Run is slated to debut at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con International July 18 -21. It will then be available through the Amazon Kindle Bookstore, Apple iBooks, Barnes & Noble’s The Nook Book Store and Kobo. Look for more updates on this website and also visit us on Facebook and twitter
